Our Saviours

Welcome to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.

As you explore all that our church has to offer, you’ll find a friendly community of people from various backgrounds who have come together to grow in faith, love and service to Jesus Christ. We are both old and young, long-time and new believers who come from all walks of life. Our Saviour’s church is a body that welcomes all people, regardless of background or personal orientations as we explore the depths of our God as a community committed to sharing the Gospel. You will see that diversity reflected in both our congregation as well as in the variety of worship opportunities we offer. We affirm the uniqueness of each person and strive to honor that by offering everything from traditional liturgical worship to contemporary worship and the recent addition of reflective/multi-media, interactive worship.

Since 1945 we’ve been here in central Tucson, serving the community by living the message of Jesus Christ. So whatever your personal situation, we invite you to take a look at Our Saviour’s and join us on our mission. If there’s anything we can do for you, let us know. Our Mission: In the Spirit of Jesus, we share our gifts with our community and world and invite all to join us on the journey of faith.

Baptism
Through baptism, an individual becomes a member of God’s people. When a child is baptized, adults take a vow for the child that the child will be instructed in the faith until he or she can reaffirm their baptism. As an adult, the vows are taken by the individual. For more information, please email the church office.

Communion
We welcome all baptized believers in Christ to the Lord’s supper. You need not be a member of this or any other Lutheran church to receive communion. Please email the church office with further questions.

Membership
New Members’ classes are offered throughout the year. You are welcome to attend just to learn more before you decide to join. Contact the church office for more details at (520) 327-6521 or by email.

Our Saviour’s is a member of the denomination: Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA)

The Grand Canyon Synod, our regional offices, are located in Phoenix, AZ
